Save The Children
IT Support Specialist
May 2023 - Present
After being in a long distance relationship for about a year, I decided to move in with my partner. In doing so,
I relocated to the Washington Metropolitan Area and sought new opportunities. That's when I landed on Save the Children.
Working for my first non-profit with a great mission, I immediately noticed the difference in culture and feel very fulfilled
in the work I do!
Vanguard
Technology Engineer Contractor
May 2021 - May 2023
Vanguard has been a company I wanted to work for since I was in middle school and it brought me great joy
to discover I was offered a contract position to work for the company that my sister had been working 15+ years at.
At Vanguard I was part of the Hardware Asset Management Fulfillment Team (HAMF) where I was responsible for
imaging, configuring and testing all of the various Windows and Mac devices that Vanguard leases. Along with
building the devices, I update the hardware info in ServiceNow. During my time there, I was a top performer
when it came to key metrics used to monitor my teams productivity!
Toll Brothers
IT Support Technician
November 2020 - May 2021
Graduating in 2020 had to be one of the toughest things a student could go through.
After months of job searching, I had almost given up hope until I was given a chance at
Toll Brothers. Initially I was hired on a 1 month contract where I did data entry that included
uploading and organizing important legal documents to the companies SharePoint site. I was fortunate
enough to be the only one selected from my team to receive an extension on my contract for an additional 5
months. My role for the next 5 months was completly different. I became an IT support technican handling
escalated incidents through ServiceNow. I worked very closely with my manager who trusted me to carry out special
takss including creating many knoledge base articles for the company. I felt very valued and will always cherish
my time with this company. I left out of fear of being outsourced and I learned after leaving that my intuition was correct.
La Salle University
Student Technician
September 2016 - May 2020
From the start of my freshman year to the end of my senior year, I have worked at
my school's IT department as a student technician. As a student technician for the past
four years, I have resolved just about any technical problems you would think a college student
could have. This includes issues with, connecting their devices to the University's wireless network,
Office 365 apps & services, printing, and many more. Having been surrounded by experienced senior
technicians, I was able to expand my troubleshooting knowledge by asking them questions.
Ferrilii
IT Technician Intern
May 2019 - August 2019
During the summer of 2019, I had the pleasure to work with a small team of four, to complete
a computer refresh project for the University of the Sciences. In the span of 2 months,
we effectively replaced all staff computers with new computers. This required us to image
and deploy 260+ computers and wipe the replaced computers for return to the leasing company.
This internship also taught me what it's like to be an IT consultant as I had to travel to Manhattan,
on a short notice, to reinforce computer security at the New York City School Support Services (NYCSSS) office.
TourGuide
Android Developer
November 2019 - May 2020
For my capstone project, I worked with two other students in my class to create an
Android app that was intended to be a virtual tour guide assistant. With just three
sprints to complete our project, we had to divy up tasks and colloborate efficiently.
I was responsible for the front-end development of the app, I used AdobeXD to prototype
the app design and then turned my design into a reality with Android Studio.
La Salle University
Computer Science, B.A. | Minor in Management
Graduated May 2020
Going to a small private school in Philadelphia was the best decision of my life so far.
I decided to make the most of my four years by walking on to the Division I Rowing team as a
coxswain as well as joining the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, which I later became the vice president
of. I was involved in other organizations, but these two are the ones that have developed me the most.
The amount of friends and connectons I have made throughout my four years at La Salle is something I think
would be way more difficult at a larger school and that is why I love La Salle and its atmosphere. Go Explorers!
